About Us...
Dynamo Girls Football Club offers opportunities
for girls aged seven and upwards in the Peacehaven, Telscombe Cliffs,
Saltdean, Rottingdean and Woodingdean areas of East Sussex to play
football. The emphasis here at Dynamos is about having fun, enjoying
the beautiful game and participating fully whatever your ability.
We have three guiding principles:
The welfare of our children
The provision of quality football coaching
and
Sport for all
Playing for Dynamo GFC helps our players to develop as individuals,
learn new skills, work as a team, learn to communicate and most
importantly to have FUN!
We are proud to be a FA Charter Standard Club and
we offer quality coaching in a safe and secure environment. We are
always on the lookout for new players either with or without experience,
so why not join the fastest growing female sport and come down and
join in one of our training sessions.
We were formed in 2003, obtained our Charter Standard
status in 2004 (which was renewed in 2007) and are growing every
season. We are affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association
(EGG00752), are members of the Sussex County Women and Girls League,
have formal links with Peacehaven Community School, Longhill High
School and various local primary schools, and we work closely with
the local community. We also hold Public Liability Insurance to
the value of £5M through our affliation to Sussex County FA.
If you are a player looking for a new team, or a parent wishing
to encourage your child to participate in a new sport, it is of
equal importance that the Club you choose is professionally run
with procedures and policies in place for your welfare. At Dynamo
GFC we take our responsibilities extremely seriously. Please use
the links on the left to find out more information about our Club
Standards.
Dynamo GFC is a voluntary organisation. We are funded through membership
fees, subscriptions, fund raising events and sponsorship. None of
our members are paid and they all give their time voluntarily for
the benefit of the local community.
