Principles

At Dynamo GFC we have three guiding principles:

Childrens Welfare: For young children football is about having fun and therefore our primary concern is to ensure that the activities we put on for the children are interesting, informative and fun. The children should feel safe, respected and appreciated. To that end, we have developed our own Child Protection Policy and adopted a range of Codes of Conduct to support this.

Quality Coaching: The most frequent and important contact a child will have at the Club is with their team coach. At Dynamo GFC we believe that we must support our coaches’ activities, providing them with the training and tools they need to do their job effectively. In return we ask our coaches to be professional in all that they do and to lead by example.

Sport for All: We believe that sport is for everyone regardless of their ability. Providing a child shows regular commitment through attending training sessions and by becoming a registered player of the Club, they will get regular opportunities to participate in matches.

Our children are our future. Playing football at Dynamo GFC will give them the opportunity to develop as individuals, improve skills, work as a team, learn to communicate effectively, to make decisions but perhaps most importantly to have fun.

As part of each player's membership of Dynamo GFC, a players and parents code of conduct are required to be read, understood, signed and returned to the Club as an agreement to abide by the points contained therein. In addition, each coach, manager and Club volunteer is also required to sign their own code of conduct.

FA Charter Standard

Dynamo Girls Football Club received the Chartered Standard Club Award in September 2004. With your child training and playing for a Charter Standard Club, you can be confident that we have a range of procedures in place for their protection and welfare. It means that we follow principles of good practise including the day-to-day management of the club, the standard of coaching we provide as well as providing clear and concise procedures and guidelines.

Part of becoming a Chartered Standard Football Club has meant the creation of a Development Plan for the future. Already this Plan has taken place with the introduction of Junior Football for those under the age of ten. As our Club develops so will further opportunities for girls to participate in this wonderful sport.
