Respect the Referee

WARNING! A shortage of referees could harm our game.

This club calls on all players and spectators to outlaw offensive, insulting or abusive language and behaviour towards match officials.

No refs, no football … imagine that!

Referees are currently somewhat of an Endangered Species, and here are some facts which you may not be aware of:

•  Referees are volunteers they don’t have to referee your match
  
•  Abuse is the number one reason for Referees quitting
  
•  What kind of a match do you have without a qualified Referee?

If you want qualified Referees THINK before you open your mouth and don’t give them a hard time.
