Dynamo’s
at PCS Community Sports Taster |
| |
Our U12 age group with Paul and Mandi
will be at Peacehaven Community School this Saturday to take part
in the Community Sports Taster sessions, designed to give potential
new players an idea of what the club is all about.
The girls will do their usual training session plus hopefully a
penalty shoot-out. Starts at 10 finishes at 12 – see you there.

Saturday 4th
October - Bring a plant day!!! |
| |
As you will have noticed, building
work on the Clubhouse has progressed nicely and hopefully next weekend
the final blocks will be in place.
The following weekend we need to plant out the area around the
Clubhouse and thought it would be fun if each player could bring
along a plant to be added to the garden. The plants ideally need
to be scrubs and preferably evergreen so that the area will always
be full of colour. If the players could each bring along their plant
on the Saturday morning then the Clubhouse should be completed in
time for the U12 and U14 home games on Sunday 5th October.
If you need any advice on the best plants to bring, just give Paul
a call.... Thank you!!

Away Games |
|
You may or may not have noticed that
this season we are trying to put directions or maps up on the website
to assist you in getting to away games. See the weekly
fixtures page.
These details are usually provided by the home Club so will vary
in accuracy and detail. Therefore, in addition we have provided
a Google Map which lists all the Sussex County Women & Girls
League venues as provided for at the start of the playing season
as further assistance.
Should you have any difficulty in locating the correct venue, please
do not hesitate to contact your team manager who will be only too
pleased to help.
It's probably worth mentioning at this point that jewellery is
not permitted to be worn during a game (FA rule) and a reminder
to make sure that you turn up at all games in plenty of time with
enough fluids to keep you fully hydrated and perhaps a snack of
fruit for half time or directly after the game. You also need to
ensure that you have your complete team kit, shinpads and boots.
If you need replacement items for your kit, please contact either
your team manger or Ruth Watson, Club Secretary.

Anyone have any
spare cups? |
|
We are in the process of setting up
the Clubhouse so that on match days (and perhaps at training sessions),
we can offer hot and cold drinks for sale along with a selection
of snacks.
Taking an environmentally friendly approach, we thought that instead
of adding polystyrene and plastic cups to landfill sites, we would
use "proper" mugs etc.
Therefore if anyone has any spare cups, mugs or plastic glasses
that would be suitable and are in good condition, please bring them
up to the ground next time you are there.
Many thanks!
