Weekend Round Up

The Under 11's were at home to a strong Eastbourne Borough Youth side and lost 1 - 3 in a closely fought game despite only having seven available players. The two teams meet again at Eastbourne next weekend in the Challenge Cup and hopefully all players will be available.

The Under 13's were away at Polegate Grasshoppers and lost 4 - 1 while the Under 15's were again short of fit players and unable to fulfil their league fixture against Seahaven Harriers for the second time in as many weeks. However, with new recruits Keeley, Gemma and Magda, and Tasha from Seahaven, they played a friendly fixture against Seahaven and suffered a 1 - 14 defeat.

Weekend Round Up

The Under 11's suffer their first defeat of the season losing 7 - 3 away at league newcomers Pevensey and Westham Girls and drop to second place in the league table. The Under 13's, suffering with injury problems, go down 3 - 10 at home to a determined Lindfield Juniors side.

Meanwhile the Under 15's combined with representatives from Seahaven Harriers in a friendly fixture between the two sides and played in a close game in which Seahaven narrowly came out on top with a 4 - 3 win. With only seven Dynamo players available, it was easy to see how just a few more girls to boost the Under 15's player numbers would make all the difference to the team.

Under 15's to play friendly at Seahaven Harriers

Due to unavoidable injuries, the Under 15's do not have enough fit players to field a team in the scheduled fixture at Seahaven Harriers today (Sunday 14th) and we have therefore had little choice except to forfeit the fixture.

However, Seahaven Harriers are keen to play a friendly fixture instead so that their squad and our fit players at least get a game. They have offered to provide us with some of their players in order that we can field a full side.

A nice gesture from Seahaven Harriers in the circumstances - thank you.

This is due to take place on Sunday 4th November, so please update your calendars and diaries as we originally didn't have a game scheduled for this date.

Weekend Round Up

The Under 11's had a Sunday off due to the withdrawal of Lindfield Juniors from the league and the Under 13's lost disappointingly to visitors Marle Place Wanderers 6-0.

The Under 15's however were successful away at Hastings even though half the team got lost and didn't show until 15 mins before kick-off and the Manager went to the wrong venue entirely!! Despite this, they came away with a 4-2 win with goals from Beth, Sharni and Emily Bridgman (!) and go 4th in the league.

Additional Under 11 Fixtures

The Club has been advised that due to the withdrawal of Lindfield Juniors from the league last week, each team is now to play each other three times instead of two.

This has resulted in further fixtures being added towards the end of the season meaning that fixtures will still be being played March 2008.

Check the latest U11 fixture list for the new fixtures.
