Yellowave Multi
Sports Session |
| |
This week sees the last planned Thursday
session before we have a short break to re-charge our batteries
before pre-season training begins in August. We do still have the
"It's a Knockout" Fun Day which will be taking place on
Saturday 28th June from 4pm onwards at Telscombe Playing Fields
For Thursday's session, we have arranged a Multi Sports Session
at the Yellowave Beach Sports venue down on Brighton seafront where
you will have the opportunity to try several different sports including
volleyball, foot volley and tag games.
There is no charge for registered players and the session will
take place between 5 - 6pm on Thursday (19th June), so make sure
you get down there nice and early. Your parents are more than welcome
to come and watch (after all, you may need a lift there and home
again!) and there is a cafe on site selling drinks and snacks to
keep them quiet while you enjoy yourselves!

Dynamo Annual
General Meeting |
| |
The Dynamo Annual General Meeting will
be taking place on Tuesday 24th June 2008 at Telscombe Civic Centre,
South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs at 7pm.
Parents of all registered players should have received details
of the AGM in the post last week and as you will see, we would like
to encourage as many of you to attend as possible. This is your
chance to hear about the Club's plans for the future and to find
out what is going on behind the scenes.
We are always after new volunteers to assist in running the Club
in whatever capacity you can manage. If you are interested in helping
out with any of the Club's activities or wish to join the Committee
on a more formal basis, please contact Ruth or Paul for an informal
chat to find out more.
We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday!

Dynamo Ladies! |
| |
We are delighted to announce that Dynamo
GFC will be looking to start a ladies team for the 2008/09 season.
It’s been a long term ambition of the Club’s Chairman,
particularly as it will ensure that we will have a team for our
older players to aspire to during their final seasons in youth football.
Trials and pre-season training will start in late July and we already
have a number of players interested in joining the team. If you
are aged 16+ and keen to be part of this exciting new venture, please
contact the Club Secretary on 01273 589366 or by emai to
info@dynamo-gfc.co.uk.

Eastbourne Borough
Tournament |
| |
A team of combined Under 13's and Under
15's entered the Eastbourne Borough tournament yesterday morning
as Under 14's and put on a solid display, particularly for the first
3 games, drawing 0 - 0. This was unfortunately followed by two 2
- 0 defeats which prevented us from going further in the competition.
However, it was a good day out and the weather remained kind to
us!
The afternoon saw the Under 11's turn out for the Club and found
that they had been drawn in the most difficult group containing
Patcham, Pevensey & Eastbourne Borough. The first two games
were lost but this was followed by a fantastic display where we
managed to beat Patcham at last! With just four teams in the group,
we were not able to go further, but again it was a good experience
for the girls.
