Annual Awards Day
Sunday 16th May 2010

Despite the gloomy, rain leaden clouds, the 7th Dynamo Annual Awards and Fun Day was a great success. The event started with a treasure hunt for the players with the prize of a mini soccer ball at the end. We then had our now traditional “It’s A Knockout” competition including sprint relay, free kick challenge and the infamous water obstacle course. Terry, Steve, Zoe and Elaine were on hand with a superb barbeque and the event finished with the presentation of a memento for all the players plus the presentation of the Special Achievement Awards.

Whilst it has been a challenging season with new committee members, and losing some players from our oldest age group, Dynamo GFC continue to offer a fantastic opportunity to learn and play this great sport. Next season will the club’s 8th since the formation in 2003 and Club Chairman Paul Cartwright is keen to recruit new volunteers both to help with managing the club and coaching. We are also on the lookout for new players from the age of 6 – 13 to join our teams.
